Western Conference Recap
The main question coming into the season out West has been the following: Will the Demon Dogs make it 4 in a row, or will they be dethroned? At the midway point, only the Arizona Konixx Outcasts have made the most compelling argument that they are the team that will challenge for that crown, going 9-1 in their first 10 games. Their only lost came against the Demon Dogs, as they split the 2-game series in Parker. Otherwise, the Western Conference has been interesting this season with seeds 2-5 only being separated by 5 points. The reborn Colorado Stallions have impressed this season and currently occupy the second seed, but the Thunder, Demon Dogs, Kaos, and Fire have games in hand.
In the semipro division, the Littleton Fire lead the way in the Rocky Mountain North with a 10-3-1 record, and they have 4 key games upcoming against the Mile High Blizzard. The Fire can either extend their lead in the division, or the Blizzard can make up those games in hand. The Rocky Mountain South has been a competitive division, with the Arizona Konixx Coyotes leading the way after 10 games with a 7-3 record. The Front Range Thunder will also look to make a run at the Coyotes, and the Arvada Fire will look to make a late-season run as well.
In the Minor division, the Lambs Grove Leaf Ray lead the Rocky Mountain East division with the Falcon Vikings only 6 points behind them with 4 games in hand. In the Rocky Mountain West, the Mile High Mavin Tugboats have yet to drop a game this season.
