Typhoon send Knights home; move on

After trailing most of game one to the 5th seeded Iron Knights, the Typhoon scored 12 consecutive goals over 3 periods to earn a series sweep.  Erik Balthaser scored late in game one to break a 3-3 tie, as they squeaked out a 4-3 game one victory.  Game two proved to be no contest as the Typhoon flexed their offensive muscle in a 9-0 drubbing.  Up next will be a series against the Atlantic's top seeded Philadelphia Deuces, with the winner punching their ticket to the PIHA Finals in Colorado.
