Tugboats, Fire Punch Final Tickets to Semipro PIHA Finals

The Sloan’s Lake Tugboats and Arvada Fire semipro teams will represent the Rocky Mountain Division in this year’s PIHA Finals in Colorado Springs. The teams finished #1 and #2 respectively in the regular season, and that trend continued into playoffs.

The Tugboats swept the Front Range Vikings with scores of 10-1 and 11-6 in the Rocky Mountain Division playoff semifinal. Arvada Fire beat the Littleton Fire 2-1 and 4-0 to sweep their playoff semifinal.

This marks the Tugboats’ first trip to the PIHA Finals in their first season as a franchise, and the Fire returns to the PIHA Finals for the first time since the 2018-2019 season.

The Tugboats and Fire will join the Empire State Legends, Philadelphia Deuces, Long Island Snipers, and Marple Gladiators for the chance to compete for the KIHA Cup. PIHA Finals will take place 5/19 - 5/21 at the Xfinity Roller Sports Arena in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
