The Blizzard are Back!

The Blizzard will return to PIHA as the Mile High Blizzard, and they are scheduled to start play in the Pro division for the 2023-2024 season. Led by former Prowlers and Thunder standout Ryan Wass-Tursick, the Blizzard will be the 5th team in the Rocky Mountain Division. Mile High have announced Matt Turner as their Head Coach for the season. They will also look to field a semipro team.

“We are excited to bring the Blizzard back to the Rocky Mountain Division,” PIHA President CJ Yoder said in a statement. “The League is looking forward to see the Blizzard build on an already strong Division and challenge for a Founders Cup.”  

This will round out more growth in the Rocky Mountain Division, with more teams being added in the Minor division as well.
