Snipers sweep Flamingos

The Long Island Snipers finished a top of the very competitive Northeast division.  In another time and place a first seed finish might have meant an easy first round opponent.  However, there were no cake walks in this division this season.  The Snipers battled and earned a 2-1 opening game victory and then followed it up with a 7-3 win in game two.  They now advance to Sunday's division semi-final, where they can punch their ticket to the PIHA Finals in Colorado.  There opponent will be the lowest remaining seed.
