(MINOR) Scream sweep Iron Knights

The defending East Coast minor champions are moving on in the 2023-24 playoffs.  After a third place finish, the Scream drew the last place Iron Knights in the Atlantic Division quarter-finals.  Game one the Scream took care of business with a 5-2 victory, but game two proved to be much different.  The Iron Knights seemed to find their legs in the second period of game one and the momentum carried over to a much tighter defensive game two.  Tied at 1-1 deep into the second period, the Scream's captain Jay Mazer, buried a goal while 3 on 3 and it proved to be the difference maker.  The Scream now move on to play the 2nd seeded Marple Gladiators, later this same evening.  The series will be a rematch of last season's Atlantic Division final, which the Scream won 2 games to 0.
