PIHA Releases 2026-27 Southeast Minor Schedule
The Professional Inline Hockey Association has officially released the 2026-27 PIHA Southeast Minor regular-season schedule, setting the stage for a 120-game campaign featuring 12 teams across the Piedmont and Sunshine Divisions.
Each Southeast Minor team will compete in a 20-game regular season, with events stretching from October through early February and taking teams across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
The season officially gets underway on Saturday, October 10, 2026, when the Piedmont Division opens play at Volunteer Park. All seven Piedmont teams will be in action throughout the two-day opening weekend.
Two Divisions Make Up the Southeast
The Southeast Region will feature two Minor divisions for the 2026-27 season.
The Piedmont Division consists of:
Apex Title Wave Mops
Champion Asheville Aces
Hendersonville Broadway Blades
Konixx Snipers
Mavin Puff Puff Passers
QC Crown
Sandhills Slashers
The seven-team Piedmont Division begins its season October 10-11 at Volunteer Park, with the opening weekend featuring a full slate of divisional matchups.
The Sunshine Division consists of:
Buttery Roller Foundation
Florida Crocodiles
Florida Makos
Saucy Sloths
Unify Hooligans
The five-team Sunshine Division opens its season one week later, on October 17 at Halpatiokee Inline Hockey Rink, with all five teams taking part.
Southeast Crossover Weekend Heads to SGAA
One of the highlights of the Southeast schedule will come November 14-15 at SGAA Dual Deck Hockey Arena, where the entire Piedmont Division will be joined by three Sunshine Division teams for the region's lone crossover event.
Making the trip from the Sunshine Division will be:
Buttery Roller Foundation
Florida Crocodiles
Unify Hooligans
The crossover will bring 10 Southeast Minor teams together in one location for two days of competition across SGAA's Blue and White Rinks.
The weekend begins Saturday at noon with Buttery Roller Foundation taking on Apex Title Wave Mops. Unify Hooligans will open against Hendersonville Broadway Blades, while Florida Crocodiles begins its crossover schedule against Mavin Puff Puff Passers.
Crossover play continues throughout Saturday and into Sunday afternoon, giving the participating Sunshine clubs an opportunity to face teams they would not otherwise see during their divisional schedules.
The event concludes Sunday with Florida Crocodiles facing Sandhills Slashers and Buttery Roller Foundation meeting Konixx Snipers.
With the geographic size of the Southeast Region, the crossover weekend provides an important opportunity to bring the two divisions together while still allowing most of the regular-season schedule to remain concentrated within each division.
Piedmont Division Travels Throughout the Region
Following its October opening weekend at Volunteer Park and the November crossover at SGAA, Piedmont Division competition continues on December 5 at Pavilion Recreation Complex. That event features Konixx Snipers, Hendersonville Broadway Blades, Mavin Puff Puff Passers and QC Crown.
The division then moves to XL Sports World – Apex on January 9, where Apex Title Wave Mops, Champion Asheville Aces, Konixx Snipers and Sandhills Slashers will compete.
The Piedmont regular season concludes on Saturday, February 6 at Pavilion Recreation Complex, with all seven teams represented in the final 12-game divisional slate.
With seven teams and a 20-game schedule, the Piedmont Division will feature a steady mix of opponents throughout the season as teams battle for position heading toward the postseason.
Sunshine Division Battles Across Florida
The Sunshine Division begins play October 17 at Halpatiokee Inline Hockey Rink, where Buttery Roller Foundation, Florida Crocodiles, Florida Makos, Saucy Sloths and Unify Hooligans will all take the floor.
Competition continues on December 19 at Fort Myers Skatium, followed by another Sunshine event at Halpatiokee on January 9.
The Sunshine Division will then conclude its regular season with a full two-day event at Fort Myers Skatium on January 30-31.
The final weekend features all five Sunshine teams and will serve as the division's last opportunity to secure valuable results before the postseason begins.
120 Games Across the Southeast
With 12 teams each playing a 20-game regular season, the complete Southeast Minor schedule features 120 games.
The format allows both divisions to maintain strong divisional schedules while still providing an opportunity for regional crossover competition in November.
For the Piedmont Division, the season runs from October 10 through February 6. The Sunshine Division begins October 17 and concludes January 31.
Between those dates, teams will compete at Volunteer Park, Halpatiokee Inline Hockey Rink, SGAA Dual Deck Hockey Arena, Pavilion Recreation Complex, Fort Myers Skatium and XL Sports World – Apex as the Southeast Region works its way toward the postseason.
The schedule is set, the divisions are aligned, and the road through the 2026-27 PIHA Southeast Minor season is ready to begin.
