PIHA Releases 2026-27 Northeast Semi-Pro Schedule

The Professional Inline Hockey Association has officially released the 2026-27 PIHA Northeast Semi-Pro regular-season schedule, setting the stage for a 120-game campaign featuring 12 teams across the Metropolitan and Mid-Atlantic Divisions.

Each Northeast Semi-Pro team will once again play a 20-game regular season, with the schedule combining a heavy divisional slate with two major crossover events bringing the entire Northeast Semi-Pro field together.

The season officially begins on Saturday, September 19, 2026, when Mid-Atlantic Division action gets underway at 422 Sportsplex. The opening event features Pottstown Space Force, Philadelphia Barons, New Jersey Jagaloons and SK Marple Gladiators.

Two Divisions, Two Major Crossover Events

With the Northeast Semi-Pro field divided into two six-team divisions, the 2026-27 schedule will feature two full crossover events between the Metropolitan and Mid-Atlantic Divisions.

Each team will play four games during each crossover, meaning eight of every team's 20 regular-season games will come against opponents from the opposite division.

The remaining 12 games will be played within the team's own division, placing an increased emphasis on divisional rivalries and ensuring that the majority of the regular season remains directly connected to the race for postseason positioning.

2026-27 Northeast Semi-Pro Crossover Events

October 10 – Metropolitan vs. Mid-Atlantic
Skate Safe America – Old Bethpage, New York

January 30 – Mid-Atlantic vs. Metropolitan
Marple Sports Arena – Broomall, Pennsylvania

The first crossover comes early in the season on October 10 at Skate Safe America, when all 12 Northeast Semi-Pro teams converge on Long Island for a full day of action across both rinks.

The event will feature 24 games beginning at noon, with every Metropolitan team playing four opponents from the Mid-Atlantic Division and every Mid-Atlantic club doing the same against Metropolitan competition.

Among the opening crossover matchups are Western Mass Wings against New Jersey Jagaloons, East Coast Rebellion against New Jersey Assault, Connecticut Coasters against Fusion Blizzard, Fusion Steel Legends against Philadelphia Barons, Long Island Empire Snipers against SK Marple Gladiators and Suffolk Sting against Pottstown Space Force.

Divisional Battles Take Center Stage

Between the two crossover weekends, the Northeast Semi-Pro schedule will focus heavily on divisional competition.

The Mid-Atlantic Division will make stops at facilities including 422 Sportsplex, Yellow Breeches Sports Center, Inline Skating Club of America and Great American Center, while the Metropolitan Division will compete at Rapid Fire Arena and Longplex, among other Northeast facilities.
That 12-game divisional schedule will make familiarity a major part of the season. Teams will see their closest competitors repeatedly, making every point increasingly valuable as the postseason race develops.

The Metropolitan Division features:

Connecticut Coasters
East Coast Rebellion
Fusion Steel Legends
Long Island Empire Snipers
Suffolk Sting
Western Mass Wings

The Mid-Atlantic Division features:

Fusion Blizzard
New Jersey Assault
New Jersey Jagaloons
Philadelphia Barons
Pottstown Space Force
SK Marple Gladiators

Regular Season Concludes With Massive Crossover at Marple

Perhaps the most unique feature of the 2026-27 Northeast Semi-Pro schedule is the way the regular season concludes.

Rather than finishing exclusively with divisional games, all 12 teams will come together one final time on Saturday, January 30 at Marple Sports Arena for the second Metropolitan-Mid-Atlantic crossover.

The event will once again feature 24 games across Marple's Red and Blue Rinks, beginning at noon and running through the evening.

That means every Northeast Semi-Pro team will close its 20-game regular season against competition from the opposite division, creating what could be an important final measuring stick before postseason play begins.

Among the January 30 matchups are Western Mass Wings against Fusion Blizzard, East Coast Rebellion against Philadelphia Barons, Connecticut Coasters against SK Marple Gladiators, Fusion Steel Legends against Pottstown Space Force, Long Island Empire Snipers against New Jersey Jagaloons and Suffolk Sting against New Jersey Assault.

120 Games on the Road to the Postseason

Across the Northeast, the 2026-27 Semi-Pro campaign will feature 120 regular-season games.

For each team, the formula is straightforward:

20 Regular-Season Games
8 Crossover Games
12 Divisional Games

The crossover portion represents 40 percent of each team's regular-season schedule, while the remaining 60 percent will be decided inside the Metropolitan and Mid-Atlantic Divisions.

The format provides both sides of the Northeast schedule with something important: enough crossover competition to allow teams to test themselves against the opposite division, while preserving the divisional matchups and rivalries that ultimately shape the race toward the postseason.

From the September 19 opening games at 422 Sportsplex to the massive January 30 finale at Marple Sports Arena, the road through the 2026-27 PIHA Northeast Semi-Pro season is officially set.
