Regional Registration Deadlines
Registration deadlines will vary by region for the 2026-2027 season.
Teams in the Northeast, Southeast, and Mid-America regions must complete registration by August 15, 2026.
Teams in the Mountain and West regions must complete registration by September 15, 2026.
All teams are encouraged to complete the registration process as early as possible to assist with scheduling, divisional alignment, roster planning, and regional event preparation.
New for the 2026-2027 Season
The 2026-2027 season will include several important updates as PIHA continues to refine its national league structure.
One of the key changes will be the implementation of the updated Player Value Index, also known as PVI. The PVI serves as a roster management system similar to a salary cap and is designed to promote competitive balance across all three PIHA leagues. The updated system will help ensure that players are placed at the appropriate level while giving organizations a clear framework for building rosters.
PIHA has also updated its fee structure for the upcoming season. The revised structure is part of the league’s continued effort to support national growth while creating clearer expectations for organizations, teams, and regional operations.
Another major update for 2026-2027 is a change to the PIHA Finals timeline. The league championship event will now move to late April or early May, giving teams a revised postseason window and providing the league with additional flexibility for travel, scheduling, and event planning.
Online Registration Portal
The 2026-2027 season will also introduce an improved online registration portal for PIHA organizations.
Each organization will have access to an organizational login, allowing team representatives to view balances, track payments, and manage financial information directly through the portal. This system is designed to streamline communication, improve transparency, and make the registration and payment process more efficient for all member organizations.
Building Toward Another National Season
The opening of registration marks an important step toward the next PIHA season. With continued regional growth, updated league systems, and a renewed focus on competitive balance, PIHA is positioning the 2026-2027 campaign as another major step forward for professional inline hockey.
Teams and organizations interested in participating are encouraged to begin the registration process immediately and complete all required steps before their regional deadline.
The Professional Inline Hockey Association looks forward to welcoming returning organizations, new teams, players, coaches, officials, and fans for the 2026-2027 season.
