PIHA Northeast Releases 2025–26 Schedule: New Teams, New Venues, Season Kicks Off Oct. 4

The Professional Inline Hockey Association (PIHA) has released the full 2025–26 Northeast Region schedule for both the Semi-Pro and Minor Divisions, highlighted by a wave of fresh faces and a busy opening month across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.

New for 2025–26

  • Chesapeake Baymen (Minor & Semi-Pro) join the circuit and will host three events at the Rockville Sportsplex, including the region’s Opening Day on Saturday, October 4.

  • Minor Division additions:ISCA Icee Boyz, Morristown Revolt Roosters, Unify New Jersey Wolfpack, and Marple Geese Chasers deepen an already competitive slate.

  • Semi-Pro newcomers:Fusion Steel join the field alongside the Baymen.

Opening Day — Saturday, October 4

The season begins with a twin-site showcase:

  • Rockville Sportsplex (Rockville, MD) hosts the Maryland event with Pottstown Rink Rat Iron Knights, Steel City Shockwave, and Susquehanna Scream starting 11:00 AM and rolling through the afternoon.

  • Skate Safe America (Old Bethpage, NY) packs a full Minor slate beginning at 12:00 PM, featuring Empire State Legends (Black/Gold/Silver), ISCA Grizzlies, ISCA Icee Boyz, Morristown Revolt Roosters, Mach1 Rinkster Empire, Champion Impact, and an evening block with Champion Trash Pandas, Champion Purple Pandas, New Jersey Jagaloons, Unify NJ Wolfpack, Long Island Rink Rat Blazers, Mach 1 Mustache, and Suffolk Sting through the 9:20 PM nightcaps.

Semi-Pro Spotlight Weekends

  • Skate Safe America — Oct. 11: Semi-Pro opening day features Fusion Steel, Fusion Blizzard, Suffolk Sting, Philadelphia Barons, East Coast Rebellion, Moriches Sting, Empire State Labeda Legends, ISCA Revolt, Long Island Empire Snipers, and New Jersey Assault from noon through the early evening.

  • Great American Center — Oct. 25: The Chesapeake Baymen make their Northeast home debut set with ISCA Revolt, Marple SK Labeda Gladiators, and New Jersey Assault across eight games (SPNE023–SPNE030).

  • Marple Sports Arena — Nov. 8: A marquee crossover including Baymen vs. Suffolk Sting and Fusion Steel vs. Baymen, plus Legends, Snipers, Barons, Rebellion, Blizzard, Gladiators, and Assault stacked all day.

  • Longplex & Rockville Sportsplex — Nov. 22: A split-site showcase: Fusion Steel, Empire State Labeda Legends, East Coast Rebellion, and Long Island Empire Snipers at Longplex; the Baymen host Fusion Blizzard, Philadelphia Barons, and Marple SK Labeda Gladiators in Rockville.

  • Rapid Fire Arena — Dec. 13: Legends, Snipers, Rebellion, and Fusion Steel headline a late-afternoon/evening Semi-Pro block.

  • Yellow Breeches — Jan. 3: Assault, Blizzard, Baymen, Barons, and Gladiators cycle through a balanced ten-game day.

  • Longplex — Jan. 10 and ISCA (Lyndhurst, NJ) — Jan. 17: Rebellion/Sting/Moriches/ISCA Revolt clusters wrap the regular-season grind for the division.

Minor Division Showcase Dates (Select Highlights)

  • Oct. 4 — Skate Safe America & Rockville Sportsplex: Full-day launch with Empire State Legends (Black/Gold/Silver), ISCA Grizzlies, ISCA Icee Boyz, Morristown Revolt Roosters, Champion Impact, Champion Trash/Purple Pandas, NJ Jagaloons, Unify NJ Wolfpack, LI Rink Rat Blazers, Mach 1 Mustache, Suffolk Sting, plus the Maryland tri-meet.

  • Oct. 18 — Great American Center & 422 Sportsplex: Roosters, Jagaloons, Wolfpack, Champion clubs in Jersey; Marple Geese Chasers, Marple Growl, Pottstown Rink Rat Iron Knights, and Susquehanna Scream in Pennsylvania.

  • Oct. 25 — Rapid Fire Arena & Rockville Sportsplex: Legends vs. Mustache/Sting/RRB cycles on Long Island; Geese Chasers, Growl, and Shockwave headline Rockville.

  • Nov. 1 — Inman Sports Complex: Wolfpack, Jagaloons, ISCA clubs, and Champion programs collide in a dense mid-season card.

  • Nov. 15 — Marple Sports Arena & Rapid Fire Arena: One of the busiest Minor days of the year across two sites, featuring virtually the entire Northeast pool.

  • Dec. 6 — Rapid Fire Arena: Legends tri-rivalries and Impact/Blazers rounds set up the stretch run.

  • Dec. 13 — Yellow Breeches & ISCA: Pennsylvania pod (Geese Chasers/Growl/Scream/Steel City/PRRIK) plus a prime-time ISCA block (Roosters, Icee Boyz, Grizzlies, Pandas, Rinkster Empire).

  • Dec. 20 — Rapid Fire Arena: Mustache, Sting, Impact, Legends, and Blazers close out 2025.

  • Jan. 3 — ISCA: New Year showcase with Jagaloons, Icee Boyz, Grizzlies, Wolfpack, Roosters, and Rinkster Empire.

  • Jan. 10 — Marple Sports Arena: A mega-slate blending Empire State, Marple programs, Steel City, PRRIK, Scream, Mustache, Sting, and Blazers across both rinks.

New-Team Storylines to Watch

  • Chesapeake Baymen (Semi-Pro): An immediate factor with three hosting dates in Rockville, including the regional opener (Oct. 4) and key sets on Nov. 22 and Jan. 3.  Four games yet to be scheduled in Raleigh in a cross over event in the Southeast DIvision.

  • ISCA Icee Boyz (Minor): A busy debut month with early tests against Empire State Legends and Champion programs on Oct. 4 and Nov. 1, plus deep ISCA/Marple slates Nov. 15 and Dec. 13.

  • Morristown Revolt Roosters (Minor): Jump straight into the mix on Oct. 4 and headline the Oct. 18 Great American Center block, returning for heavy ISCA nights in December and January.

  • Unify NJ Wolfpack (Minor): A New Jersey derby right away with the Jagaloons (Oct. 4, Oct. 18, Nov. 1, Nov. 15) should set an early tone.

  • Marple Geese Chasers (Minor): Debut on Oct. 18 (422 Sportsplex), with significant home-region volume at Marple Sports ArenaNov. 15 and Jan. 10.

  • Fusion Steel (Semi-Pro): First NE appearance on Oct. 11 (Skate Safe America), then a headline role in the Oct. 25 Rapid Fire evening block and Nov. 8/ Nov. 22 showpieces.
