PIHA Announces 2026-27 Northeast Region Semi-Pro Division Alignment

The Professional Inline Hockey Association is pleased to officially announce the 2026-27 PIHA Northeast Region Semi-Pro Division alignment, featuring 12 teams across two six-team divisions.

As is often the case, the Northeast Region will begin play slightly earlier than much of the rest of the country. As PIHA’s largest region, the demand for available rink time is especially high, and scheduling flexibility is critical in order to complete the regular season and regional playoffs in a timely manner. Northeast teams also carry the added challenge of planning for travel to the PIHA Finals each year, making those additional weeks after the regional postseason an important part of the league calendar.

The upcoming Northeast Semi-Pro season will feature a strong blend of returning programs, new additions, and one notable merged entry, all helping shape what should be one of the region’s deepest and most competitive campaigns to date.

Metropolitan Division

The Metropolitan Division will once again feature several of the Northeast’s most recognizable programs, while also welcoming new teams and a newly merged club into the fold.

  • Connecticut Coasters*
  • East Coast Rebellion
  • Fusion Legends Steel(merged team combining Fusion Steel and Empire State Legends)
  • Long Island Empire Snipers(Defending League Champions)
  • Suffolk Sting
  • Western Mass Wings*

The division is headlined by the Long Island Empire Snipers, who enter the season as the defending league champions. They will be challenged by a strong field that includes the newly formed Fusion Legends Steel, along with new entries Connecticut Coasters and Western Mass Wings.

Mid-Atlantic Division

The Mid-Atlantic Division brings together a balanced mix of established PIHA organizations and promising newcomers.

  • Fusion Blizzard
  • New Jersey Jagaloons*
  • New Jersey Assault
  • Philadelphia Barons Space Force*
  • Pottstown
  • SK Marple Gladiators

With the addition of the New Jersey Jagaloons and Philadelphia Barons Space Force, the Mid-Atlantic Division adds fresh energy to an already competitive group that includes several experienced and familiar programs.

A Competitive Road Ahead

The 2026-27 Northeast Semi-Pro alignment sets the stage for another exciting season, with two balanced divisions12 total teams, and four new teams entering the mix.

From the defending champion Long Island Empire Snipers to several fresh faces looking to make an immediate impact, the Northeast Semi-Pro landscape promises to deliver high-level competition throughout the regular season and into the regional playoffs.

With the Northeast once again getting an early start, teams will begin the long road toward the postseason and, ultimately, the opportunity to compete at the 2027 PIHA Finals in Colorado Springs.

Additional details regarding schedules, event locations, and key dates for the 2026-27 Northeast Region season will be announced as the scheduling process is finalized.
