PIHA Adjusts Marple Division Finals Schedule to Beat Sunday Weather

With a worsening weather forecast expected to impact travel on Sunday, PIHA has issued non-negotiable schedule adjustments designed to help teams finish earlier and get on the road before conditions deteriorate. While the league cannot cancel games this weekend, the revised plan shifts as many Division Finals Game 1s as possible to Saturday night, allowing Sunday’s slate to start earlier and wrap up significantly sooner than originally planned.

Importantly, Saturday Division Semi-Final schedules will remain unchanged, aside from minor time tweaks to a small number of afternoon Game 2 matchups. The primary change is the addition of Division Finals openers on Saturday night for nearly every division. The only exception is the Semi-Pro Mid-Atlantic Division, because the Assault have already advanced and will not need to attend on Saturday.

Updated Division Finals Schedule

Saturday, February 21 (Game 1s)

  • 7:30 PM — Keystone Semi-Pro Final (Game 1)

  • 8:15 PM — Keystone Minor Final (Game 1)

  • 9:00 PM — Garden State Minor Final (Game 1)

  • 9:45 PM — Mid-Atlantic Minor Final (Game 1)

Sunday, February 22 (Game 1s, Game 2s, and If-Necessary Game 3 Slots)

  • 8:00 AM — Mid-Atlantic Semi-Pro Final (Game 1)

  • 8:40 AM — Keystone Semi-Pro Final (Game 2)

  • 9:20 AM — Mid-Atlantic Semi-Pro Final (Game 2)

  • 10:00 AM — Garden State Minor Final (Game 2)

  • 10:40 AM — Mid-Atlantic Minor Final (Game 2)

  • 11:20 AM — Keystone Minor Final (Game 2)

  • 12:00 PM – 2:40 PM — Game 3 slots (as needed)

Key Note on Game 3 Timing

Teams should also be aware that Game 3 times shown on the website reflect the latest possible start times assuming every slot is required. As series results come in, Game 3 slots will be assigned only when necessary, and it is very possible—if not likely—that a Game 3 could be moved earlier than what is currently listed online.

Overall, the goal is straightforward: front-load critical games on Saturday and accelerate Sunday’s schedule so teams can leave earlier and travel more safely.
