Legends defeat Hitmen; earn birth to Finals

The Empire State Legends are Colorado bound.  After a solid day Saturday, defeating the Champion Impact in two straight games, they had the might task of taking on the two seeded Hitmen.  The Hitmen finished the season in a statistical tie for first, but only tiebreakers seeded them #2.  The Legends have quietly been the sleeper team this season and they showed why with an opening game 3-1 voctory over the Hitmen.  Though the Hitmen answered back with a 2-1 win in game two, it was the deciding game three that would determine the final entrant to the PIHA Finals.  The Legends had the stuff in game three, winning 4-2 and will join the Snipers to represent the Northeast division at the Finals.
