FINALS DAY 1 SEMI-FINAL ROUND UP

All six remaining semi-pro teams converged at Xfinity Arena on Friday for the first of two games each in the three game round robin.  The round robin will seed the teams for the elimination round which begins Saturday afternoon, after the final round robin is played Saturday am. 

Friday proved to be highly competitive and left no clear cut front runner.  If there was an early front runner it would be the Snipers who are the only 2-0 team in the field, but it took a huge comeback in their first game to earn a victory of the defending champion Gladiators.  In fact the Gladiators, Deuces, Legends, and Tugboats all sit at 1-1, after Friday's action.  The Fire are the lone 0-2 team, but found themselves in two competitive games.

Winning their final game will be crucial for all six teams tomorrow and in some cases margin of victory may play a major part in where teams seed for the playoffs.
