Final Regular Season Weekend on East Coast
This Saturday, April 2nd will be the final regular season event for the 2021-22 season on the east coast. The event being held at Sportime Amagansett, is a rescheduled date from early January, which was postponed due to covid restrictions. Four NE division semi-pro teams will first meet for their final four games of the season, followed by three minor teams.
Significant playoff implications are at stake in both divisions. In the Northeast semi-pro division, it is the 2-5 seeds who are all in attendance and all four teams have the ability to move up and down the standings, with the coveted 2nd seed, which comes with a first round playoff bye, still up for grabs. In the minor division, a similar situation exists. The 2, 3, and 5 seeds will all battle in a double round robin event and all teams have the ability to finish as high as 2nd, earning a first round playoff bye.
