7th – Climate Shock for Hawaii’s, Maiya Birdsall. She Heads to Michigan

Colorado Springs, CO – September 1, 2025 – The Hawai‘i Inline Hockey Initiative (HIHI) proudly announces that Maiya Birdsall, a talented right-handed forward from Kapolei, Hawai‘i, has been selected to represent both Team World and Team Pride Girls at the upcoming 2025 State Wars National Tournament. Birdsall has been coached and mentored by long-time inline star Jon Chun, where she has developed into a versatile forward with skill, determination, and a strong competitive drive.

Beyond her accomplishments on the rink, Birdsall is also an avid swimmer and enjoys hiking, reflecting her well-rounded athleticism and passion for staying active. Her dedication to hockey and her continued success at the national level highlight both her individual commitment and the growth of the sport in Hawai‘i.
