The all-Marple matchup became an instant classic, extending into the second overtime period, played 2-on-2. Kyle Young sealed the victory for the Geese Chasers with the sudden-death winner after a relentless back-and-forth battle. 4:00 PM – Marple Geese Chasers 10, Chesapeake Baymen 3
The Geese Chasers erupted for their highest offensive output of the season, led by a balanced attack. Kyle Grizzard (2 G, 2 A), Jeff Horner (2 G, 1 A), and Mark Constantine (1 G, 3 A) powered the effort. The Baymen continued to compete hard but couldn’t slow the Chasers’ relentless puck possession game.
4:40 PM – Steel City Shockwave 6 (3OT), Marple SK Labeda Gladiators 5
The festival finale went the distance — all the way into the third overtime period, played 1-on-1. After nearly 36 minutes of action, Kyle Rosendale delivered his second overtime winner of the day with just 10 seconds remaining in the 1-on-1 frame, giving Steel City the perfect 4-0-0 sweep. Anthony Putter again led Marple with two goals, while goaltender Jacob Proskin notched the assist on Rosendale’s dramatic clincher.

The Shockwave were dominant from start to finish, combining skill, speed, and discipline.
