03/04 Rapid Fire Recap (Minor)

Headed into the last weekend of the regular season, it was a healthy lead in the standings for the Champion Impact.  They not only lead the division, but hold the best record in the entire league.  It would have taken a gigantic collapse for either the Sting or Legends to catch them for the top seed.  While the Sting did manage to topple the Impact twice during the event, the Impact took care of business in their other two games and easily held onto the first position in the Northeast division.

While the Sting may have gained confidence in the two wins against the Impact, they lost a tough game to the Legends, who will be their first round opponent in the playoffs.  The Legends, who have finished third in the division, finished with a pair of shutout victories against the Admirals, the mentioned victory against the Sting, and a rough loss to the Impact.

The defending champion Admirals finished a tough season going 0-4 and have the tough task of taking on the #1 seed Impact in the first round of the playoffs.  The other match up it the division, will be a great one, as the 2nd seed Sting take on the 3rd seed Legends in a best of three series that will surely entertain.  Best of luck to all four teams.
