03/04 Inman Recap (Semi)

The Deuces have now finished the season having won 14 straight and secured the number one seed in the Atlantic semi-pro division.  On Saturday, the top three teams in the division met at Inman for the final four games of the season.  Up for grabs was final positioning in the top three.  Going in, the Deuces held the advantage, one they would not relinquish, sweeping their way through the event.  

The Marple Gladiators and Wheel City squared off twice.  They split a pair of games, with Wheel City winning the final game and securing the second seed.  In the best game of the day, the last place NJ Grizzlies showed they can play with anyone, as they took the home town Wheel City to a shootout, before losing.

Now with this half of the division completing the regular season, they await the results of this coming weekend's final semi event being held in Mt Pleasant, PA.  That event will determine the 5th - 7th seeds, as only the Typhoon have locked up their spot in the 4th position.
